ROCK 4B+ wifi working for anyone?

I’m comparing Radxa vs. Raspberry and can’t get wifi / Bluetooth to work whereas the Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 have wifi / Bluetooth working out-of-the box

I’ve tried the official images, plus the latest Radxa and Armbian builds including:

Armbian_23.11.1_Rockpi-4b_bookworm_current_6.1.63.img.xz
Armbian_23.11.1_Rockpi-4b_jammy_current_6.1.63_xfce_desktop.img.xz

Does anyone have wifi working with the 4B+ ?

If so, can you provide instructions and drivers please?

What issues are you having exactly?

Wifi not being recognized, can’t find/install driver?

Thank you for responding.

After installing any of the official images, ROCK Pi4B+ cannot connect to wifi

Error messages include:

Error: Connection activation failed: (53) The Wi-Fi network could not be found.
Error: Connection activation failed: (7) Secrets were required, but not provided.

Workaround is to use Armbian instead of Radxa official images.

Hi,

Try these latest Armbian images:
https://github.com/armbian/community/releases/tag/24.5.0-trunk.93

for RockPi 4B+.

they work fine for me.
