i have a question i actually wanted the boot to start from the sytem sd card and the system from a usb3 ssd or also emmc possible?
regarding emmc:
whenever i try it via emmc it works until i do the first updates that can no longer boot the system

Did you try this too? Install and usb ports should just work. If you like beta versions, then check here.
I’ve installed that and yes the USB works fine - but on that I am unable to install Wine. I have three distros I am working with - all have things that work that the others do not - if I could get the best bits of all of them in one the Rock 4C+ would be great

I have now downloaded Armbian 23.02.2 Lunar with bleeding edge Linux 6.1.11-rockchip64 and it works perfectly. also boots wonderfully via emmc and a super speed the system which is also great that it has xrpd a question about xrpd how can i use my own user via xrpd instead of using the root user?
maybe someone knows a solution Thanks
