Rock 3B Android + 4G Module

Hi,

I’ve got the Rock 3B SBC and a 4G module from waveshare (link below).

I installed the android image from radxa’s website but I can’t get the 4G to work.
I tried installing the debian OS and then installing drivers following these instructions, https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/SIM7600G-H-M.2#Set_up_4G_in_Raspberry_Pi. That worked fine!

But I don’t know how to install the drivers for the 4G module in Android.
Tried to connect to the sbc with ADB but it can’t find it.

Has anybody got the Rock 3B with android to work with a 4G module or know how to do it?

Our Android inage does not support this 4G module.

Oh, that’s a shame.
Do you know any 4G modules that is supported?

Hello,

So I got a reply from support that the Quectel EM05 is supported.
Installed the image dated 20240619 and 4G now works. But now I have an issue with the touch display that I’m using that I did not have with the image they have dated 20220408.

The touch is now off on the y axis (up and down). If I touch the display in the middle it’s ok but when i scroll up or down it trails a head. so the input moves further from the center than my finger.

How do I solve this?
