Rock 3a RAM chips

Do I need to modify the DDR file after changing the RAM chip of the Rock3A to a model in the support list?
For example, I changed to H9HCNNNCPMML-XRNEE log to display DDR Version V1.10 20210810 In unknown device error ERR .

Thanks for the reply. If it is possible, do you still remember what is the reason for the unknown device? Is that because of soldering or configuration for the ram? Any information would be much appreciated.
