RK3528 Yocto Layer

Hi there forum,

I’m trying to find a yocto layer for the RK3528 chip. Does anyone here perhaps have any experience with this board and yocto.

Google shows so much, but nothing concrete from what I can see - Seems odd as the chip is just an upgrade on the RK3328.

Perhaps someone can guide me in the direct direction?

Many Thanks

Prob not as the only images seem to be a Rockchip BSP with 5.10 debain bullseye.
Its fairly new as a SoC and haven’t seen any 3rd party image even thoug the BSP does work well the kernel and even distro are aging.

I am actually likeing it as its a great low cost embedded board I think its closer to the A35xx series using much of what they learned previously as prob pat of the design of the rk3562 / rk3576 that also use A53 cores than the latter Armv8 A55 cores that have added vector instructions that they often beat a Pi4 for ML and DSP.

I got one test as it was a strange decision by Radxa not to have the DAC on GPIO as its there just not connected even has a mic but no pin allocated on the Rock3 models which are about the same price by time its shipped for much more.

I think this repo is the latest but hasn’t had much love from last year https://github.com/JeffyCN/yocto-conf/tree/master maybe others have as it been on the roadmap since nov 23 but this is the 1st rk3526 SBC I have seen, runs cool at 2.0Ghz due a to a smaller process node prob but actually don’t know what it is but that is likely what links the 35xx boards.

Haven’t tested the vid decoder as its 4k 60 is pretty good but will have to see how that pans out in reality.
I have been using the debian CLI image than the desktop on a board such as this, but its an interesting low budget board with a pi like single 2.1 pcie lane.

I have been trying to work out if kodi still runs standalone
