Right version of balenaEtcher for rock 5b

There are a couple of versions of the balenaEtcher floating around. When linking to downloads page it is version 1.5.76, when getting the latest version it is 1.7.9. Is there any reason not to use the latest version for making an image on the emmc?

I wouldn’t use any version of balenaEtcher; it’s a ridiculously bloated app that throws ads at you while not working properly 50% of the time. If you’re on Linux, use dd. If you’re on Windows, use Win32 Disk Imager.

I used raspberry pi imager and it did the job. Just dont use any functions besides selecting the image, the device and write. Thats it.

I also use raspberry pi imager which has worked fine for me imaging to emmc and sd card both.
