RebornOS + Rock 5B graphic issues

I installed RebornOS-ARM-rock5b-2023-01-22.img.xz image with KDE and I’m experiencing two major issues:

  1. The taskbar gets frozen after a little while (usually within 10 seconds) after hovering my mouse pointer over some icons or clicking on K menu and moving mouse pointer upward.
    In this case I have to restart plasma shell and it works again, though this is very cumbersome.
  2. Can not play any videos in youtube neither in Firefox nor in Chromium. I’m getting this error message in Chrome’s video box: “If playback doesn’t begin shortly, try restarting your device”

Are these known issues? Anyone experiencing the same? Maybe I’m missing something, if so it would be nice if someone can point me to a wiki page where this explained in detail.

  1. KDE is currently not stable under 5.10.110 on RebornOS, feel free to try another DE available for it.

  2. For fixing the White Ring issue on youtube, just go under Pulseaudio settings, and make sure only one audio output is selected as shown on pictures, then just reload Youtube video and will play accordingly. Works with Chromium and Firefox.

Hi, Thanks for reply, I didn’t even had pulsaudio.

I solved this play thing temporarily with installing ffmpeg4.4-mpp.
