Radxa Zero 3W (Hotpost mode)

For my use case I need the radxa zero 3w to create a hotspot using hostapd.
I’ve tried the official XFCE b6 image from github.
Using Network-Manager I am getting the error message, that adhoc-mode is not supported by the wifi driver. When trying hostapd I am also getting the error message, that the wifi module can’t be changed to hotspot mode.

I am using the aic8800-driver, that was shipped with the debian b6 (XFCE) image.
Does the Radxa Zero 3W even support hotspot mode?
Are there any updated drivers available?
The one integrated in the b6 image seems to be a beta implementation and is also quite noisy on dmesg.

Hi @SaschaHeld, did you manage to enable hotspot mode?

@darknblack unfortunately I wasn’t successful enabling the hotspot mode.
Because of that we’ve decided not to use the Radxa Zero 3W for our product.
