Very good news as I’m hoping for a computer-in-a-keyboard based on the Zero 3W.

That would be awesome!

Bet you can do some prototype with a bit of 3Dprinting…

Not much to prototype. What I hope for is a low profile hot-swap mechanical keyboard with a 65% ISO layout. …a bit like Keychron k7 but without background lighting. Connecting such a keyboard to a Zero 3W (via bluetooth) should be easy. The only thing left to test, really, is if an aluminium plate would be enough of a heat sink.

A keyboard version of 3W would be perfect as a secondary computer if my primary (a Rock 5B) fails for some reason.

currently worked on github.com/Kwiboo/u-boot-rockchip/commits/rk3xxx-2024.07

U-Boot v2024.10 released with support for Radxa Zero 3W/E.

Will this somehow fix the type c support for devices? Having to hot replug the type c to recognize mouse and keyboard everytime sucks.

Compile and test it then report back if it made any difference.

Does rockchip-mpp work with this kernel on radxa zero 3e?

Probably not, but if you are adventurous you can try to get it work.
