We can expect to get official u-boot mainline support as soon as this gets merged upstream. -

Latest Radxa vendored u-boot binaries for Radxa Zero 3W/E:
version 2023.10 : https://github.com/radxa-pkg/u-boot-latest/releases (download the biggest deb file, it contains u-boot for all supported boards) -
EDK2 UEFI support got merged upstream:
