Radxa Zero 2 Pro USBC Port Capability

I’d like to use my Radxa Zero 2 as a surveillance camera. I read through some other forums and it appears the SD port is not fast enough to record in 4k. I have a two part question.

  1. I believe 4k video requires over 100 meg per second. Some SD cards support this. Can the Radxa Zero 2 Pro SD card port handle this write speed?

  2. If it cannot, I would like to record on a USB C external drive. I would also like to hook a camera and mic upto the USB C port. What are the power and data transfer specifications on the USB C port? Can I run all three of these devices together using a splitter? If so, do you have a recommended splitter? Thank you!

I think the SoC has a hardware h.265 encoder so I think typically the raw video would be encoded to h.265 and then saved, in which case your storage media throughput (and capacity) needs would be significantly reduced.
