Radxa X4 won't boot after power outage

Hello, I’m using Radxa X4 8/64 boards in some projects and they are presenting some problems when there is a sudden voltage drop or power outage. When the power is restored or stabilized, the equipment no longer starts up, the red LED does not light up, even when I de-energize and re-energize the board. It only starts working again after I disconnect the battery, wait about 10 seconds and reconnect it. After that, the system takes about 40 seconds and starts working again, losing the RTC information, of course. The big problem is that the equipment I manufacture is closed and kept in a factory environment, and it is not possible to open it to remove the battery. Is there any solution to this problem of the Radxa X4 not starting up after a sudden voltage drop?

I apologize for my bad English…

Probably it’s worth to consider some UPS with 12V like this one
For original problem - this sound like some voltage left on capacitors, maybe You can figure out what can be discharged and helps board to wake up.

There are 2 contacts on the board, TP20/TP21. If you can connect a key out of case, you can use it to clear the CMOS. The effect should be the same as unplug the RTC.

Hello, Ryann, thank you for your reply, but I believe that this solution is palliative, I believe that the correct thing would be for this problem to no longer start to be fixed, do you agree with me?

yes, This is only a temporary solution
We will look into this issue and hope to fix it in a future release
