[Radxa X4] Attaching PoE Hat and Stock Cooler at the Same Time?

Hello,

I’m looking at the directions for attaching the PoE hat, which attaches via posts screwed in from the underside of the X4, where the CPU is.

Looking at this, and the screws themselves, I can’t figure out how to attach the stock X4 cooler to the CPU after attaching the PoE hat. There’s no way to screw it on. I don’t want to start dismantling the screws that are already on the hat until I know what I’m supposed to be doing.

I found this thread, which is odd: X4 PoE Hat PLUS Heatsink possible?

It always about the PoE hat being compatible with “other boards,” but it’s sold as an X4 PoE hat.

At this point I’m also not clear if the kit I have actually has all the parts I need (that is, if it’s been updated per the previous thread).

@ryann , could you please provide an update from the last thread confirming what is needed to make the above kit work with the stock heatsink?

The different material is a copper stud. The updated stud specification is M2.5*9+3.
If you install the stud into Heatsink and no thread is exposed, it means it is updated.

Thanks! I’ll try that in the next few days and report back.
