Hello,
I am hoping the community can help. Has a solution has been found for the Radxa Penta SATA HAT not powering down after Raspberry Pi 5 shutdown.
The current setup is as follows:
Raspberry Pi 5 8GB Ram
Radxa Penta SATA HAT with two 1TB 2.5 inch SSDs in the outer slots
Radxa Penta SATA HAT TOP Board
Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
Power Supply: USB-C 5.1V 5A (27W) connected to the RPi 5
Application: Media Server
The EEPROM is configured as follows:
BOOT_UART=1
WAKE_ON_GPIO=0
POWER OFF ON HALT=1
BOOT_ORDER=0xf461
All aspects of the RPi 5 work flawlessly including Drives, Media Server, OLED Display and Top Board Fan changes speeds based on system temperature.
At RPi 5 shutdown, the Pi’s power LED goes from green to red, the blue SSD Drive LEDs remain lit which leads me to believe the SSDs remain powered, and the Top Board Fan runs at an extremely high speed. I have not found a way to correct this within the configs. Any correction guidance is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ralph
