Radxa Dragon Q6A Linux details

Would the Linux kernel be based on Qualcomm Linux with a vendor specific dts? Will the bootloader be released? Will the Linux kernel headers be released in a similar fashion like raspberry pi?

I am aiming to develop a driver for a high quality OLED panel using 4-lanes of MIPI DSI. I have written the driver for Linux.

I’m coming from working on Particle Tachyon that uses the same SoC but disappointingly their Linux release is still on vendor specific kernel 5.

The Qualcomm Linux kernel (Yocto spin) is available, but Radxa are shipping this with Ubuntu.

It also looks like they will ship with a Kubuntu spin.

Also on the Discord channel @Meco is working on Armbian running 6.15.7 kernel.

Great news. Am I being too late to ask for a developer sample?

I have a GPU accelerated Desktop already running out of the armbian build system. Just fine tuning now and I will do a dedicated post here with a what works and what doesn’t table with quirks to consider with the platform
