Radxa Cubie A7A SATA support

Hi there,
I’m playing with A7A and Penta HAT which seems to be working just fine (lspci shows 01:00.0 SATA controller: JMicron Technology Corp. JMB58x AHCI SATA controller) but the drives are not being detected. I double checked the kernel config and found out the ATA stack is not configured.

Would it be possible to get a testing kernel with (S)ATA support built in?

Thanks,
Dalibor

It is confirmed that the relevant function is not enabled. We will add it in the next version update. If you need a kernel for testing, you can either build it yourself or we can provide you with a test version.

Thank you for the quick response and the test packages. I can confirm it works. At least my quick test shows no issues so far.

Looking forward to have it in the official image as well.
