Radxa A7s (Cubie A7s) – Missing NFS kernel module

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue with NFS support on a Radxa Cubie A7s, and I would like to understand whether the NFS client module is available (or planned) for this platform.

Environment

  • Board: Radxa Cubie A7s

  • OS images tested:

    • radxa-a733_bullseye_cli_r3.output_512.img

    • radxa-a733_bullseye_kde_r6.output_512.img

Investigation

  • Checking loaded modules:

    lsmod | grep nfs
→ no output

  • Trying to load the module:

    modprobe nfs
→FATAL: Module nfs not found in directory /lib/modules/5.15.147-21-a733

  • Also:

    cat /proc/filesystems | grep nfs
→ no nfs or nfs4 entries

CONFIG_NFS_FS is not set on current kernel. We will enable it in the future.
