Hi all & @jack,
Just curious, in the schematic https://dl.radxa.com/rock5/5b/docs/hw/radxa_rock5b_v13_sch.pdf I see this:
It shows two RJ-45, one via “PCIE20” and one via “RGMII”.
On the PCB though, I only see one RJ-45. Can you confirm that the Rock5B has one RJ-45 only, or is there some additional connector that would give it two?
On the PCB photo https://wiki.radxa.com/mw/images/f/fe/Rock5b-v142-top.jpg is seen a chip that looks like RTL i.e. Realtek-something. The one RJ-45 there is, is it driven by this 2.5Gbit PCIe Ethernet controller? Exactly which model is it, RTL8125 or RTL8125B(S)(G)?
Last what is RGMII, is it that the RK3588 has a built-in Ethernet MAC and the RGMII is the connector from that one to an external Ethernet PHY on the PCB - but this is not provided right.
Last for completeness, at the WIFI it says “PCIE20 or SDIO”. What you actually did was the E-key M.2 22x30mm slot with 1x PCIE v2 lane, that can be used for any purpose. And there is no use of SDIO for WIFI. Correct?
Thanks!
