After receiving a notification of shipping for my Quad Sata kit and a delivery within 3 days (from China to the Netherlands). I didn’t have to time to find some hard drives, so I started installing all the stuff.
I started with the installing required software for the sata hat/top hat. curl -sL https://rock.sh/get-rockpi-sata | sudo -E bash - When the top hat was not connected, the cpu fan was not spinning and the temperature was just rising. After connecting the top hat. All the fans are working. For me it is not an issue, I will use the top hat. But maybe for somebody else it will, if you only order the sata hat.
Now I only have to wait for my hard drives to arrive to make the setup complete
