Quad SATA HAT for Raspberry PI - questions

Hi Hi,

I want to buy (Quad SATA HAT for Raspberry PI 4) and I have some questions.

1,
For my set 4x 3.5 HDD is what power adapter recommendation (12V/6A) ?

2,
Is it possible to connect a classic fan (120x120 mm) here?

if so some change is needed here:

3,
is it possible to replace the USB-Bridge connection with these cables?

Thx.

How much voltage does a classic fan (120x120 mm) need? The hat can provide 5V.

If you connect the fan to VCC5V0 and GND, nothing needs to be modified.

Thank for your reaction.

I plan to build my own full-box with 1x fan 120x120 or 92x92: https://noctua.at/de/products/fan

do you mean like that?

which fan connection should i choose (4-Pin PWM) or (3-Pin)?
and how do i get 4 or 3 pin to put it correctly on 2 pin?

Thx.

Sorry. If you said 3-Pin or 4-Pin fan, then I’m not sure, I thought it was 2-Pin fan.

Can anyone please advise me?

So what is the recommended power adapter for 4x 3.5 HDD (12V/6A) ?
What is the maximum allowed voltage for the adapter ?

Which fan to choose and how to connect it 4 or 3 pin ?

I found this information:

So should I buy a 3 pin and plug it like this?
red cable > 5v
black cable > GND
other color cable > select any GPIO and set it in the settings (FAN GPIO: = Example: 14, 13, 18, 19 .etc)?
