Pxeboot with Netboot.xyz

Hey guys,

My ideal setup would be to be able to configure a rock 5 model B using a netboot.xyz server (which I currently run already on my router). However, I noticed that pxebooting is not something that is supported by the hardware right now, or I seem to be unable to find the option to do so.

Are there any pointers for this? I would like to use a preseeding file with debian 11 for arm. That way I could automate my setup for multiple boards to have the same setup across the different boards.

Currently what I managed to setup is armbian with the their suggested image for rock 5 boards. However, I don’t like the fact that I have to compile the image myself if I wanna make any small adjustment in the image.

Also I don’t plan to use any eMMC or microSD card. Just want to install from pxe straight to an nvme drive, and want to boot next time into nvme.

(Currently flashed my chip to accept the armbian image).

Any suggestions to achieve netbooting would be appreciated.
