Problems with customised carrier board for Rock Pi S Core

Hi everyone,

I’ve designed a carrier board for the Rock Pi S Core, but I’m unable to connect to the SOM through SSH or the serial console. It seems like the image isn’t loading.

I checked the SDMMC_D1/2/3 pins with an oscilloscope, but there’s no activity. However, on my Shajin board, I see some activity when booting with the same image (the one in the Radxa Downloads). I do see the SDMMC_CLK clock as a stable square wave, while on the Shajin, it looks more like a sinus wave.

For the UART, I measured the TX and RX pins, and they both stay high when I check them in “UART” mode on the oscilloscope. I’m using direct lines from UART3_TX/RX for the serial console.

For the Ethernet ports, I’m using a USB2514 hub from Microchip and the Max Linear XR22800IL32TR chip, but none of the port LEDs are lighting up.

Does anyone with experience with the Rock Pi S Core could help me? Any advice on how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks!

Can you tell me what version of PI S Core you have? If you can, please provide me with a picture of the real thing.

Thank you for your interest. Feel free to ask any more questions.

It is the RS308-D4WSOM, I got it from here:
