PoE Hat compatibility with Ubiquiti 24V passive PoE

I have an EdgeRouter 12P which I would like to try and use the PoE ports with a RockPi 4 PoE Hat(correct me if it is the wrong one).

The problem is, that the PSE does not specify that it is compliant with the 802.af/at standards (so my guess is that it is not), and the described 24V seems too much for the voltage described on the PoE Hat (5V). Does this mean that these two are incompatible?

I am new to the PoE world and electronics in general so I am not sure which resources to reference to figure this out.

Thanks in advance.

They are not compatible, manufacturer confirmed.

24V is not PoE-compliant. The original IEEE 802.3af PoE standard specifies up to 15.4 W of DC power (minimum 44 V DC and 350 mA) per port.

Most of the EdgeRouter line up is 24V PoE. If you want 802.3af/at PoE, the Unifi PoE switch line up supports it. I use an old USW 8-port 150W switch which works great. NOTE: make sure to set the port to 802.3af/at BEFORE plugging in the device as it defaults to 24V out of the box.
