Pi5 Penta SATA HAT - LEDs

1st off to development I would like to say thank you for a great little product.
2nd a thanks to Jeff Geerling for his NAS video.

On to my question - I currently have a script that will flash a pink LED if someone is SSH’d into the Pi, once for 1 session, twice for 2 and so on, on GPIO17.

  1. Will this interfere with the SATA HAT if I solder an LED onto the back of the GPIO header PIN9&11
  2. Alternatively are any of the SATA HAT LEDs addressable? i.e. the 5th eSATA LED that I will never use?

Pin9 is not connected, pin 11 is used for top board, here it’s full pinout

Those are wired to JMB585 chip, and can’t be changed.
