Overclock raxda zero 3w

hi everyone, anyone know how to overclock raxda zero 3w with RadxaOS? i write down what I found for now:

  1. dts located in /usr/lib/linux-'uname -r' are 3 for zero 3w
  2. U-Boot parameters set the rk3566-radxa-zero-3w-aic8800ds2.dtb file in boot environment
  3. dtb file is potentially setted for 1.8 Ghz but the limit in /sys/devices block is 1.416 Ghz
  4. using all cpu tools and commands like cpufrequtils, cpupower, cat via terminal and so on,the frequency still on the 1.4 Ghz

now i’m stucked on what to do, please help me to find a solution or new ideas

Hi ciapciap ,

Because we disabled the high frequency of the CPU for rk3566-T in the driver. So you can’t make the CPU work in high frequency mode by commanding and modifying dts.

can i modify driver through kernel development/compiling? can you indicate me the files or libraries in question?

hi, my problem isn’t fully solved: the wifi won’t start after the modification, is there any mode to fix it ?
for clarification: i set the variable soc_is_rk3566t=0, start without any issues a part this

i recompiled radxa kernel sobstituting soc_is_rk3566t=0; in the kernel code but wifi doesn’t work but is you dont need csi consider dietpi or armbian pre-overclocked

do all the Radxa Zero 3W boards have the rk3566-T SoC, instead of the full powered rk3566?

@bruzden yes , The default labeling is RK3566-T.
