Thats all standard :
*** OPNsense.localdomain: OPNsense 22.7 (aarch64/OpenSSL) ***
LAN (dwc0) -> v4: 192.168.1.1/24
WAN (dwc1) -> v4: 192.168.178.251/24
I’m running pfsense on a bigger amd64 device; I know the settings.
The acting of the LEDs on the LAN-port is strange. Green connecting directly to PC, or orange connecting over switch. But never gets a connection.
It is very strange.
What is the hardware version of your device?
Show the output of ifconfig -a
Try tcpdump -i dwc0

Hi,
I return this device to shop. I suppose there is a defect on the port. I tried openwrt from this community and got same connection-fails on LAN. I installed lua-web, but no web-access
I’ll try next weeks to setup a running opnsense device…
btw: can Y build a newer image for orangepi r1+ (xulong r2s) for opnsense? There is a similar issue with the support for one of the realtek ports, too. Thx
it is because of the lan chip used on R2S and its drivers in freebsd.
Hi,
yes, I know - I read this in the freebsd forum, too. I was able to bring them up by using SleepWalkers image(s) and a u-boot from another repo. But I forgot the combination. After sd-card failure, I was not able to get both ports to be recognized by opnsense
But it has worked - instead my new rock-pi e must have a defect on LAN side.
