I’d like to run an operating system on the 3E that is not owned by Radxa.
I’ve noted that Armbian is a thing, but then there is a developer there that’s purposefully making amlogic hardware go bye bye (see the r/linux/comments/jikd5c Reddit thread) which basically made me sigh in to my whiskey.
Effectively, it’s not meant with any insultation, but … yeah.
Someone in that Reddit thread mentions that Manjaro arm64 ( Arch? ) is pretty good … but tbh I’d prefer Debian … should I just … book it and try?
