No ethernet on Ubuntu LTS on nvme ssd

System boots up and I can log in but cannot connect to Ethernet and eth0 status is down. Won’t activate with ‘sudo ifconfig eth0 up’. I can’t find the file that sets up the interfaces. where do I go from here?

Have you recently changed the OS? I would check the latest Armbian or Radxa release to see if there is a difference.
Does ifconfig -a list wlan0 or eth0 ?

This is a new image I just downloaded a couple days ago. The ifconfig lists eth0.
