Newbie question : how to download a file

Hi.
I finally install my Rock PI S with debian.
But I can’t use wget or ftp command for download a link file.
How can I download a file??
And I tried to install wget but failed.

/sudo su
/apt-get install wget
Reading Package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done
E: Unable to locate package wget

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wget

I need some storage for other install…
I thought that it would be enough but only 1GB Nand is short for me.

No, you would need to build a custom image with something like Buildroot for the 1GB of storage to be useful on its own.
