New Rock Pi 4 doesn't start

Hi, just bought a Rock Pi 4B OP1 4GB/64GB WLAN.

When connecting power the green light is on. That’s all. No monitor signal, no USB power.

Power supply is USB C from 5 V to 20 V, 18 W max.

Tried with and without uSD card with bootable image.

Any ideas? Did I forgot an important step?

What power adapter are you using? Is it PD or QC compatible or other protocol.

UGREEN USB C Ladegerät 36W Dual Port USB C Netzteil PD 3.0 & QC 3.0 kompatibel mit iPhone 13, 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, 12 Pro, iPhone 11, 11 Pro, iPad Pro 2020, MacBook Air, Galaxy S10 usw.(Weiß)

Solved: Pre-flash of eMMC was not done by manufacturer. Bought a USB A-A cable, an image from here: https://github.com/radxa/rock-pi-images-released/releases
and the instruction from here:
https://wiki.radxa.com/Rockpi4/dev/usb-install
Thanks to the allknow.de team!
What I do not know is if I can use the instruction above to install Twister OS instead of Ubuntu or Debian.

Probably not. Open source world is avoiding proprietary Rockchip tools / hacks, so others (except Debian builds from Radxa) might (IIRC will) not work this way. But some other way.

Main Linux distribution for (those) single board computers is https://www.armbian.com/

… others are images made by Radxa or comes as (in binary form only and unsupported by armbian developers) “Armbian” with additional bulk you probably don’t need = TwisterOS Armbian.

ARM single board world is distro hoppers unfriendly
