New bootloader version

Is there a new bootloader to be expected?
Need a bootloader which boots sd-card first then nvme.

Take a look at this commit: https://github.com/radxa/u-boot/commit/61c7b9bbea052248f2228186c9ae6090d3967165

Sorry,I am just a normal linux user.
Not familiar with this hint .
Maybee Radxa should it make it easier to handle the rock5 b for testing different OS.
Now I have to replace my nvme anytime I test something on a sd-card.
A Radxa expert should be more experiend to create a better bootloader and help the less experienced community.

You have the demand to change the default boot order of uboot. I agree with you. The eaiser devices can get plugged, the higher their priority should be in the boot order.
Uboot source code is open to get access in the github. You can open an issue or create a pull request to make changes happen. I may do this someday, but I don’t have time to test at this moment.

Sorry to steal your valuable time . I always thought that an easy to handle system is an advantage
in marketing. If you as Radxa open a pull request at github it will be more impressiv than when I do.
Thanks for nothing
Uli

He is not radxa, there is no radxa, there is no spoon

This is not what I needed to see right now

Sorry if he is not Radxa, but he sounded so.
I only would express that a system so incomplete is not usable for commercial purpose.
A sytem depends of hardware, bootloader and OS.
My experiance is hardware=top,bootloader=shit,OS=Reborn=best,Ambian=second,Radxa=third.
Hope Radxa is reading the forum and improving.

The bootloader is necessary if you want to be able to upgrade your firmware without needing to re-enable the security settings or have access to the programming header on the PCB.
