For years I am looking at the idea of LOW RESOURCE software and low resource hardware and RockPI S is helping me do further testing and checking in practice, what I believe is the NEXT THING TO DO…
The words I use is Low Power Compute Software and Low Power Compute Hardware…
SBCs make the LPC software a real possibility, but we still using SBCs like we “use PCs”, and I believe we SHOULD depart more and more from that…
Many more things, of course, can or need to be considered, but I think the post shows the core of the idea…
RockPI S allows me to have a “silicon for each app”…
An entire hard/soft system (O.S.) dedicated permanently to run ONE APP at its best…
Well, this is the direction and RockPI S is really, in my point of view, a MILESTONE in this journey…
