Need help with DSI display and HDMI input options

Hi Radxa community

I am interested in the zero 2 pro for it’s size/power/npu and looking to pair it with smallest display and if possible hdmi input. After some research I found a waveshare 2.8 inch dsi display that I think should work with an 39-pin to 15-pin adapter and a HDMI to CSI module with a 31-pin to 15-pin adapter (only two lanes supported). From the pinout I think it should work but want someone to confirm if this is possible before I pull the trigger as I am not an expert in hardware.

Also please let me know if there is a 31-pin to 22-pin adapter for csi port to support the full 4-lanes of hdmi to csi adapter. I couldn’t find it but I might have missed it.

Below are the links to the accessories I am planning to get

  1. Waveshare 2.8inch dsi display

  2. 39-pin to 15-pin adapter

  3. HDMI to CSI adapter

  4. 31-pin to 15-pin adapter

Maybe this is a better option https://www.waveshare.com/2.8inch-HDMI-LCD-H.htm

Hi Chen, thats a good alternative. Would prefer to use a DSI display and keep it low profile if possible. Worst case will have to get the HDMI lcd. Do you know if its possible to use the dsi display mentioned?

https://github.com/radxa-pkg/radxa-overlays/tree/main/arch/arm64/boot/dts/amlogic/overlays This is all the hardware we currently support, if you are sure that the hardware connection is OK you can also try to port the kernel driver and device tree

Is there any overlay that enables DSI connection? I am currently working on using Waveshare 4 inch DSI LCD
