Hey guys,
I am using the mpph264enc gstreamer plugin and am being baffled quite a bit since it seems that there are no bitrate related options available and everything is hard-coded into the plugin.
Am I missing something? Is there by any chance a fork of this plugin that anyone knows of with this functionality added? An encoder without bitrate related options seems pretty useless to me, that’s why I am thinking that I must be missing something.

Hi @stylesuxx, can you give a small description of your system? I’m want to use mpph264enc as well, but is not working for my case. I using the Ubuntu 20 (Linux 4) with a desktop environment and a USB ArduCam.
Nah, sorry. I have modified the plugin to fit my use case, submitted that as a PR, which the maintainer did not like and that’s about it. This was as an evaluation for a customer of mine and since it went the way it went, we decided to go with a different platform.
