Mini PCIE to M.2 SATA

Hi Folks. I am totally new to the Rock Pi products and was a little bit confused about the “Mini PCI Express” connector on the bottom of my Rock Pi 4 Plus…

At first this looks like a Mini PCI Express Connector, but the number of pins are not the same. Can me please anyone tell what kind of card fits in this slot and if there is a adapter available to connect a M.2 SSD to this connector (and hopefully boot from it).

Thanks so much

Maybe have a look at this page first:

It does not mention compatibility with a simple single port SATA board. It is a M.2 M-key slot, and it point outwards, so you need to construct some base plate or so yourself. Or buy a case explicitly for it.

The Penta SATA HAT should work, but not sure if you need 5 ports.
There is a M.2 M-key SATA board, but that is for the Rock3C I know, maybe others, I haven’t looked at it futher as I could not buy it in the EU.
