KDE not working on Armbian

Hi there,
I’ve installed KDE on my Armbian, but it’s not working. Black background with 2,3 application from the autostart. No visible mouse, not usable. Same with KDE on Wayland. Gnome and Gnome with Wayland is working fine without any issue.
What’s wrong?

Greetings
Andreas

Nobody is working with KDE on Armbian ? No experience ?
Thanks
Andreas

Kernel: 5.10.110-rockchip-rk3588 arch: aarch64 bits: 64
Desktop: KDE Plasma v: 5.26.4 Distro: Ubuntu 22.10 (Kinetic Kudu)

What’s wrong? That is not how to ask for help. This is a technical forum. Provide what image name you used, kde plasma version and some journal/log info of specific errors.
I built mine from armbian kinetic minimal add X test it for hw accel on panfork then add qt5 then kf5 then plasma. Works great here. I dont trust their full images of any desktops is why I do it this way.

Supported ones are in good shape, while others are wild west.

Help to improve those images is more then welcome.

Hi there, I’m using the Armbian 22.11 Jammy Gnome image. KDE installation: “apt install plasma-workspace-wayland libqt5multimedia5-plugins plasma-desktop kde-config-screenlocker breeze-gtk-theme fonts-hack kde-config-sddm khotkeys kinfocenter kmenuedit kscreen”.
After login 2,3 application from autostart is starting , no border around applications, so applications are not useful. Plasma Version: 5.24.7.
No failure found in syslog.
Thanks
Andreas

I only can get kde working on x11. With wayland I just get a black screen with a frozen mouse cursor. Downside of x11 is the panfrost driver doesn’t seem to be working for hardware decoding of video.
