Indeed, I got extremely annoyed that Arace doesn’t support paypal. It’s probably the very first online vendor I see without paypal. I normally never pay with a credit card, doing it exclusively with paypal and this time I had to make an exception.

I ordered an O6 from Allnet on the 8th of march and haven’t heard anything aswell (except the order confirmation).

I just cancelled my order from Allnet China and asked them for a full refund.
It is good that the order delay gave me as much time to think about everything that has been written in this forum, about the difference in the advertising and marketing and what gets delivered in the end. I guess I lost my fondness for being an early adopter in the waiting time. I check back in a year or so and see how “open source” this thing is then. Maybe then it is even a product someone would describe as “daily driver possible”.
Right now it looks like even the two reviewer guys have doubts and a big contributor to the RK3588 source code seems to have doubts and frustration about the Orion O6, or rather the handling of communication and code from Radxa and CIX right now. Maybe in a year it will be better.
Just a shame I bought a Pico-PSU, an efficient external PSU, a case with passive cooling, a small GPU and some network equipment for it. Guess that stuff goes into other projects then.

Same here, I guess the shipping delays really gave me a chance to rethink about the decision to become an early adopter (and pull the plug before its too late).

O6 will start shipping this week. The Cix chips delayed to ship to us, we guess the reason is the impact of the US BIS OSATs restriction in Feb, 2025. But now we have finished production of this new batch, still can not fulfill all pending orders but should cover most of them. The AI PC Kits will start shipping next week so for those who ordered together will start shipping next week.
