I used official Images(Debian or Ubuntu server + Ubuntu mate) with Rock Pi 4B V1.4.
I installed xboxdrv(XBox One controller driver ) and use jstest-gtk to test it.
When use USB cable to connected:
jstest-gtk can not opened and OS was Ubuntu server + Ubuntu mate.
jstest-gtk will show it in list and OS was Debian,but test buttons and axies will not any response in properties windows.
When use bluetooth to connected:
bluetooth can’t pair it ,whatever Debian and Ubuntu server
