I just ordered my RP 4B and am wondering if anyone has used it for a Plex server. Right now I’m using a RaspberryPi and I’d like to start using the RockPi because it has a lot more power.
I’m planning to use Debian Desktop and run it headless with SSH and RealVNC.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to install plex server on the rockpi 4 but I was unable to connect my samba drives. So I stoped my experiment.
BUT, I executed plex server on a Rockpro64 and a Nanopi PC T4 with armbian and every thing ran really fine. I was able to transcode only one session at a time but the RK3399 did a really great job to transcode it. Forget hardware accelleration with plex and Arm device. Plex only support Intel Quicksync.
Yesterday I change my setup, I bought a Nuc8i7 to run plex to be able to transcode more than a session at a time, but I still run plex server on my Nanopi PC T4 for my personnal use.
