iQaudio DAC+ on the Rock pi 4 Mute Issue

I am using the Rock pi 4 B+ and I have installed the iQaudio DAC+. Powering the System with 12V from the iQaudio power input. I am using Debian.

When I attempt to drive the mute pin high (PIN 15; GPIO4_C5) the pin voltage value only goes to about 1V, and it doesn’t seem sufficient enough to unmute the amplifier. When the DAC+ isn’t installed, this pin is able to get to 3.3V. Also, I have tried the same DAC+ on a raspberry pi, and I don’t have this problem.

Are there some settings for the Rock Pi’s pin other than just output?

Hi BassBreaker !
I’m trying to make RockPi 3 wit IQAudio Digiamp+ fully functionnal.
May u give me some help with this device, and maybe tell me wich part of the boot that I have to modify to make it functionnal ?

Thanks a lot

Ultimately I didn’t put enough effort into getting it to work. I learned that the 3.5mm jack output provides a decent signal that can be amplified. So I am just making an analog amplifier.

You might have some luck looking around these forums. The Rock 3 might have a device tree option to enable the i2s called hifiberry-dac.
