All the AD55xxx preorders for 16GB units will be en route to the shipping hubs later today (they’re already packed and labeled, waiting for the trucks to pick them up).
Introduce ROCK 5B - ARM Desktop level SBC
so i calculated arround 500 orders a day going out (72*7 7 because 8 hours per day is the legal limit as far as i know and minus one hour for good measure)
72 is our best number per hour so far, so if we would’ve had enough units on hand, we could’ve probably topped 550 orders shipped today if the team could keep that pace for the rest of the day.

It usually takes the shipping companies up to 24 hours to get the tracking number into their system so it actually shows something. Asendia sometimes takes up to 72 hours due to the way their shipping hubs are set up.

You guys did a good job! My order is shipped with tracking number available im waiting now! Gladly yous didnt used DHL thanks for that!! They charge us big time for costums… lets see how UPS does in regarding to that. My order was AD59## and its sorted today. Amazing. 
I made my order from Ameridroid in March and just got the notification about the shipping of the 3 rock pi 5B 16GB today.
I was planning to use them as a baremetal k3s cluster.

I also confirm that my both 16 GB versions have arrived with power blocks and Metal cases + wifi card from Allnet China.
I paid Today to allchina for my preorder of 4GB version. Preorder was made in mid May. Ameridroid seems far behind. Years ago I bought n2 from them and shipping to Poland was extremely fast.
I received the 5b today after it bounced around DHL places in USA for 16 days. Very happy 
. 8 gb version from AmeriDriod. I ordered at the beginning of June. So what OS to try first ?

they are just selling 4gb and 8gb so far not the 16gb model
I read that and I’m confused. Which m2 slot support ssd sata? Is this revision different from what we got
as preorder?
the upper slot is sata and pcie and sdio and usb and uart the lower slot is pcie only but faster
But I will not fit any ngff drive there. It is too small. Thx for clearing it.
