what about allnet, do we still need to wait for email to arrive to place final order?
doesn’t seems allnet customers have priority over ameridroid then…

i made an preorder not just with the coupon and yes ameridroid handles the preorders differently then allnet

I ordered from Ameridroid initially then canceled and switched to Allnet, I got the coupon on may 17th
I still have received nothing from Allnet ,no email invite for purchase,
do I have to wait to get an email to use the coupon or can i just order? I thought they said all preorders would b going out by the end of October,

If you ordered your coupon code from ameriDroid but have not yet placed your ROCK 5B order yet, please do so now and as soon as possible. We are sending out an email to all our customers who purchased the discount code to encourage them to apply their discount code to an order now. We don’t know when Radxa will no longer allow us to redeem the coupon code.

When ordering the discount code, our page said this in the FAQ section:

When can I redeem the code?

  • You should have received your coupon code within 48 hours of ordering, and it is immediately active for a $50 discount on the purchase of any ROCK5

If you ordered your coupon code from Allnet and have not yet placed your order, we suggest it is probably a good idea to order from them now as well.

As stated when going through the ordering process on ameriDroid, we don’t have a large enough staff to handle import and tariff agreements with any countries other than the US. It is up to the customer to handle the tariff on any import shipments. Generally, your country’s shipping company will contact you to let you know what tariff (if any) needs to be paid.

If we have our original coupon order confirmation but can’t find our coupon code, is there any way to recover it? I’m wondering if somehow the email with my coupon code got accidentally erased by me.

same situation, spamming their mail with no answers.
this is what i got just after buying the coupon :
"Once the board becomes available, the store will send you a payment link with the discounted price of the board of your choice.

You then can either add other products or simply checkout."

Just got my board today from Allnet, finally - it took forever to get here and just to give you an idea, my parcel sat in the Netherlands for 6 business days for no apparent reason. After the 7th day it continued on its journey after which the Finnish post held it for 2 days after clearing customs, also for no apparent reason. :crazy_face:

Anyway, really happy with the board physical design. It feels very sturdy, well made and attaching it to where ever it needs to go should not be an issue. Do make sure though you test all different combinations (like using M.2 storage and/or SD card, they will affect final dimensions).

I’m writing this on the provided Debian image with XFCE desktop and it does the job just fine. I can see some compression-like artifacts on the screen every now and then but I’m sure it’s just a matter of development. All in all a very capable board and can’t wait to experience future releases!

The AmeriDriod orders are being sent. They are working on sending tracking numbers. I ordered at the beginning of June and there are apparently 133 more boards to be sent before mine goes out the door. To me that means Radxa is catching up quickly.

I paid the 5 $ coupon in January and got a link in September.
