Is it possible to connect external I2S DACs, for ex.PCM5102?
I have RPI3A v1.3 and according to 40-pin header diagram found on the wiki page there’s nothing about I2S or PCM…
What PINs shall I use for LRCK, BCK, DATA? Or it’s technically not possible at all with 3A?
Yes you can, I have built a dummy soundcard operating system using buildroot here :
The Rock3a still has uboot usability problems which are listed in that link above. Most notably are the uboot script execution failures which makes booting manual and requires a console debug uart link.
Is it possible to just enable i2s3 in a standard distribution for rock pi 3 c?
