How to add a recovery button?

I’ve found it quite convenient to get into the maskroom mode by pressing a button, other than taking the MMC and SDcard off the board or ground the pin, which is very tedious since MMC is hidden under the heatsink

and I just noticed RockPro64 from Pine64.org has this button installed by default

The Recover button (28): used to enter maskrom mode.

So I just wondering is there a easy way to modify the Rock Pi 4 to add this button?

Check board schematics to see if its accessible on PCB. For example, FriendlyArm made a new hardware revision of their NanoPi M4 to add buttons. It was also n/a in a first hw version.
