I have managed to get into Debian GUI twice…
Dramas with PD, not really sure if SPI or Uboot was done correctly, no real clue… any help would be amaz-ballz
Help to just get into the Debian GUI
if the official image also doesnt work post a screenshot of the problem if anything appears onscreen if not connect a uart to usb adaptor and look at the uart console and copy and paste the output into the forum
after several attempts i can it to boot with an image on sd card only and can access via ssh, no screen output from device
Forgive me, I am noob coming from RPI4, I have tried to follow the steps but my flash tool looks different (both linked version on radxa website), I think I am missing a step, or doing something wrong.
If you are having issue following the maskrom guide, a temporary solution is to install the system from your SD card booted system. It should work similarly to how you install the image to SD card.
what size is your sd card and the nand
I am using a 32gb sd card, I have got debian into GUI before but it just wont now, not sure what the story is.

I managed to get it to book into Debian GUI again, using second HDMI port, redid SPI .bin and img using RKDevTool_Release_v2.81 and can read all board/chip info with that version, cant with newer version, using the 32GB SD card is the only way I have managed to get it to boot so far, but baby steps. Still have PD issues but that’s for another thread.

why don’t you connect a HDMI cable ? that’s will be easy more? LoL.
and if you connect to ROCK Pi via UART by using putty or other terminal apps, you will find that is easy to grab a screen shot via windows’s snapshot tools or if you are using Linux OS, i recommend you using "scort " to grab desktop snapshot. …
