I have an HDMI source (camera) that the RK3588 seems to be able to ingest. 4K@30 422, 10 bit. However, the device seems to be exposed as 8-bit , NV16. What I need is the original 10 bit to pass to the Main10 HEVC encoder.
Is the current implementation of an 8bit component device a software limitation or a hard limitation of the HDMI RX? If not, what would need to be done to extend the 8 bit support to 10. Happy to develop this effort.
