Ftp Activate a service or Install an app?

Hi, Is there a service I have to activate so i can ftp to my rockpi or do i have to install one?

If i have to install one, What would be a good fit? I need something Light and fast.

Packages “ftpd” or “vsftpd” are the best for light access. I prefer “vsftpd”. You may want to remove root user from list of blocked users if you want root access to Rock Pi. The file for that is “/etc/ftpusers” - add “#” sign before “root” entry. Also please remember to use complex passwords so no one will access your Pi and damage it.
