I just did a normal dnf offline-upgrade last night and was unable to boot into ANY kernel after the update was applied. Fedora 44 had been stable for months prior to this.
I used an SD card to try and rollback and/or repair the OS. I removed qcom-firmware entirely, and this didn’t change anything.
The grub menu is reachable, but all three kernels (including previously working ones) are affected. After selecting a kernel to boot, the screen goes blank and the machine eventually reboots. Nothing is logged in journalctl.
I don’t have a USB-to-TTL cable on-hand, so that’s all I can report. I’m just posting it here in case anybody else has this issue.
