Fedora 41 GPU driver, installe, KDE

The Fedora image works nicely but has some quirks, namely software renderer. Has anyone gotten a default f41 working? Debian seems to have an accelerated driver. How does one get this working in Fedora? KDE plasma has package errors. I don’t have the time to become a kernel dev, but some basics I can probably do. Any suggestions, links, hints?

Also anyone got the AMD drivers working? Work somewhat out of the box with vanilla f41 on the lx2160.

Hello,
is there any change to get Fedora 42 (or Rawhide) running on this board without any external GPU card? What’s the status with the internal GPU ?
Thanks
Andreas

It’s been a while but I figured out how to install of the shelf OSs and I use the 9.0.0 system ready BIOS (can’t get the official Radxa Bios to do that). So, with that BIOS (search for O6 System Ready) it just boots a latest OS. Fedora 43 Rawhide doesn’t need any settings, 42 (or Ubuntu 25 I believe) needs Device Tree instead of ACPI. But then you should be able to just boot from USB or any other device, flash the installer and install the OS. GPU should work - now I don’t know if its accelerated. Maybe I should pull out the wx5100 and try that.

With ACPI boot, GPU is not accelerated and the frame buffer is locked to 1920x1080. The picture gets upscaled if the monitor supports higher resolutions, but you won’t get more pixel real estate than that.

Thanks a lot. I think, I will order one.
