Far better than a little anemic 2 core ARM, ready to receive a lot of containers in some ways, it’s similar to “Hackintosh,” a concept where mac OS is run on monkey type hardware not produced or assembled by Apple. It’s illegal, but the chances of Apple going after individual users are uncommon. The full DSM is installed on a small partition of each hard drive installed . It is an ARM processor and most probably a customised Linux OS
