Does RK3566 and RK3568 have blobless boot yet?

Hi all,

I am curious about the ATF blobs for RK3566 and RK3568 as last I checked there were proprietary parts that ARM and Rockchip have not released. The RK3588 has a GPU blob so I am interested in the RK3566 and RK3568 having blobless boot with no problems with ATF and u-boot.

Also how is mainline Linux support for these two SOCs?

Thanks I just haven’t been keeping up. Question is dated June 14th, 2023.

Still requires blobs. i tried a couple of days ago, I velieve atf built fine but uboot uses some trash python script called binman that fails to build tpl due to misconfiguration and size mismatch. This garbage script written in a garbage language is I believe the last hurdle to have fully open bootloader for this board.
i believe all the pieces are there, but working with binman is a pita because it is fundamentally trash. there was a pull request trying to work around this but went no where because it’s such a bad script and not very flexible. theyll have to fix it or hopefully find an alternative eventually because this same script is what’s stopping rk3588 uboot as well.
Can’t say about kernel support, dont really use the thing because of the lack of development and radxas “linux” is a joke.
